This loft at Graydon Buckhead Apartments is designed for a couple from two cultures: an American photographer and a Chinese fashion designer. The design brings together their professions, their backgrounds and the way they live in a single home that celebrates each of them and the life they share.
An enclosed kitchen contains the strong flavours and cooking methods of Chinese cuisine, so that the rest of the apartment can stay open and fresh. Dedicated workspaces support two creative practices, while living and entertainment areas give room to relax and to welcome friends.
The project was developed and rendered entirely by hand, in marker, so that the drawings carry something of the warmth of the home they describe.
